Position description The Medical Surgical department is a 40-bed inpatient unit that cares for a diverse patient population including general medical, general surgery, orthopedics, oncology, and urology. The department has a culture of respect, compassion, integrity, and teamwork. The Patient Care Assistant assists staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care which supports and complements nursing practice under the supervision of a registered nurse. The Patient Care Assistant carries out delegated skills that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel. Qualifications 18 years old and completioEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
